Napa Valley Barrel Auction App

A custom auction bidding app that started out with native mobile and web versions, later pared down to a robust web application that served multiple audiences: bidders, administrators, volunteers, and staff.  The app was designed to pair with the Auction Napa Valley website and included functionality for guests to bid remotely on their own, early bidding for VIP guests, kiosk bidding on-site at the auction event, and bidding on behalf of others using an administrator’s PIN.… [read more]

Napa Green

A complete update for the Napa Green program website which included moving from an ASP Classic codebase to a custom PHP framework.  The site integrates with data from an SQL Server on Azure as well as photo resources via the SmugMug API.

Highlights included producing a pattern library that adapted to a wide range of colors within the designed palette, developing custom CMS tools to publish calendar events and program stories, and an account area that processes certification submissions.… [read more]

A simple website update for photographer, Philip Dollo, to extend mobile optimization - especially for iPads and tablets. Consultation and input was contracted by Summer Stickney at serif.cz to: customize the javascript for portfolio image galleries; move away from a mobile/javascript redirect to responsive CSS using media queries.
