A simplified task/to-do list for iOS Apple mobile devices, built to minimize and streamline the interface for managing tasks on a daily basis.

Browsing one day for a simple to-do checklist, I got frustrated that I couldn’t find anything that did what I wanted it to do. The perks of being an iOS developer myself are that I just decided to make my own!

There are a TON of task management and to-do list apps out there to choose from. Everyone seems to do them a little differently. So my policy with 2do BY day has been to develop and maintain it as the app that I want to use for my own purposes.

Along the way, I’ve heard great suggestions from customers that wanted some control over the color choices – so I added themes in 2012 and expanded the codebase into a universal app for both iPhone and iPad.

It’s not perfect yet – I still have some things for which I’d like to find a more elegant solution – but as an intuitive and visually appealing checklist, I’m happy with the product. It’s such an easy way for me to jot down ideas and the random “oh, I don’t want to forget to do that on Monday!” moments.
