The Multipotentialite

Folks seem to have a lot of different names for this personality type: multipotentialite, scanner, renaissance (wo)man, jack/jill of all trades, and so on. You’ve seen me refer to myself as a “generalist,” for instance, and that I choose because in the professional sphere I think it best highlights how the perspective is different from the normal idea of expertise in a single set of knowledge. Regardless, I do love seeing people speak about the common characteristics, championing our collective strengths and promoting the value of the approach as a model for versatility, adaptability, and unique insight.
