Concept and design the print and digital collateral for the GiveLight 10th Anniversary Gala, a non-profit focused on building loving homes for orphans worldwide.

Design Volunteer
I worked with GiveLight for several years as a volunteer, assisting with their design and technical needs. For the 10th Anniversary Gala, I was enlisted to develop the visual concept for the event.
An early version of the board’s vision was branded ‘Light Upon Light,’ for which I created this design for a Save the Date postcard, building upon the organization’s branding, ties to Islam, and intended Moroccan theme for the event.
As the event date moved closer, the name for the event was changed to ‘Little Stars in Our Universe,’ bringing the focus back to the children whom the event would support.
I developed a new visual concept for the title and produced assets for both digital and print distribution—again bringing in elements of GiveLight’s logo and being mindful to dress the children in culturally appropriately attire, given their international network of orphanages in Muslim communities.
I also put together a print version of the Sponsorship Packages Menu.
At the project’s end, I handed off the assets to other volunteers so they could continue building upon my design for additional event needs.
