A rebuild of an earlier system, this iteration integrated fully into a new staff portal designed for comprehensive management of content and communications for company websites and members. Functionality was ported over to a newer codebase built in Laravel, striving to maintain UI/UX familiarity in order to reduce any resistance to adoption. Improvements included faster and more accurate reporting, report filtering, and integration with the existing permissions system to improve security and content integrity for staff members.
A significant part of the project also involved coding a reiterative procedure to transfer images from a previous domain to a new CDN on Azure and update archival emails to reflect the new resource links. An interface within the staff portal was also created for select technical staff to run these procedures during migration.
